Personal Information
„Leave this world a little better than you found it“
Commitment to sciences at the job and youth work as a volunteer are my attempt to fulfill the quote of Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Scouts movement.
For me scouting contains a lot: creativity, taking-responsibility for me and others, international contacts, environmentalism, team-work, exchange with different kind of people…and a lot more.
I finished my internationally-recognized scout-leader training (Wood-Badge-/Gilwelltraining) including skills:
• reflection of self-development and own leadership behaviour
• social, professional & methodical skills for group leadership
• self- and external-perception
• understanding of developmental psychology & group dynamics
In addition to my weekly work with teenage scouts, I contribute my skills for creating publicity and raising funding for several projects of the local group in Hannover. I am a knowledge multiplier at topics of environmentalism, fair-trade, digital engagement and community management.
Aside from scouting, I was also voluntary engaged in a student council and a sport-club.
Employment
I organize weekly group meetings, outdoor activities for teenager and support them to start their own projects and (ad)ventures. I am multiplier for digital-social tools, global fairness and ecology.
