72 h – Social campaign 2013

As a youth group leader, I supported a group of teenagers (13 -16 yo) during their own social campaign. The project’s goal was a refurbishment of a meeting point for young people built from old freight containers.
Part of the project was also the collaboration of the scouts with the local youth of the nearby district marked with social deprevation. I organized the event, networked with the different stakeholders of the project and raised the funding for the needed material via a sucessfull proposal for financial support at the Concordia Foundation and collection of online-donations via the betterplace.org plattform. The campaign was limited to a period of 72 h and embedded into a nation-wide event by the catholic youth movement (BDKJ).
